First Story: Key Talent Palmer Fit for High-Stakes Capital Clash with The Gunners

The Blues head coach Enzo Maresca announced on Friday that Cole Palmer is set to return for the team's vital top-flight fixture against London opponents Arsenal.

The young England midfielder had been sidelined due to a fractured toe suffered after an unfortunate incident.

“He is available to start and to play,” Maresca declared. “Everyone is happy.”

This season, Palmer has made only four appearances across all competitions, netting two goals.

After joining from City in the previous year, he has notched 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 appearances for Chelsea.

“He is our most valuable asset, we are pleased he is back, we need to give him time to be completely ready,” Maresca added. “He has done fantastic in the past and no doubt he is going to do very good for this club in the future.”

The Merseyside club were unsuccessful in their challenge against Idrissa Gueye's red card for an on-field altercation with teammate Michael Keane during the team's single-goal triumph at Old Trafford.

The veteran Senegalese midfielder was shown a red card just early on into the game after slapping Keane amid a dispute over a misplaced pass.

The player quickly said sorry, and the teammates were seen making up later in a light-hearted online video.

However, the challenge against the dismissal was turned down, and Gueye must serve a three-game suspension, making Everton depleted for their next match against Newcastle.

“We challenged the decision and it was rejected,” manager the manager revealed. “We haven’t been given any reason why it was turned down but we did appeal it.”

When asked about more issues from the incident, Moyes remarked: “It was over immediately, it was done, that was it, we progressed rapidly and it was all sorted within the team environment.”

Third Story: Wissa Trains with Newcastle for First Time since Injury

The club's new signing Yoane Wissa has practiced with his squad for the first time since sustaining a knee problem shortly after his arrival from Brentford in September.

West Ham will welcome back Lucas Paquetá after his ban, while Crysencio Summerville and Dinos Mavropanos are progressing in their recovery from injury.

5. Gibbs-White in Contention for Forest against The Seagulls

Nottingham Forest's boss Sean Dyche is hopeful that Morgan Gibbs-White will be available for the team's home fixture against Brighton on Sunday.

The England player missed the midweek European game against Malmö due to a back issue.

“Hopefully it’s settling down,” Dyche stated as he prepared to face the Brighton manager's team, who have secured a decent haul from their last three matches.

“It’s like a bad back, but a waking-up sort of injury, one where you just rest awkwardly or twist funny. So we’re not expecting, at this stage anyway, that it’s too serious and it’s settling down already. So we’re hopeful that it’ll be right for the weekend.”

The defender was feeling his hamstring muscle after the comfortable European victory, but Dyche indicated the player “should be fine”.

Meanwhile, the full-back (thigh injury), the midfielder (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), Chris Wood (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are expected to miss out.

Sixth Story: Glasner: European Loss Will Not Hinder Crystal Palace

The Eagles manager Oliver Glasner feels that the disappointment of midweek's European defeat to the French side is a sign of how far the club has come in competing on multiple fronts.
